On June 13, 2025 an application was filed with the Borough of West Cape May by an attorney for a variance to build a marihuana growing, processing, and distributing facility.
A 5,000sf building which will stand less than 1,000 feet from family homes.
If this variance is permitted, it means our community and our children will be active participants in the growing, processing, and distributing of a schedule one drug.
As of September 19, 2025 the application was deemed "incomplete" so no public notice is required to inform the home owners in West Cape May. Click the link below for a copy of this application.
Every 10 years a review of West Cape May's Master Plan takes place.
This year, many changes are being suggested. Including adjusting how often home owner's can rent their investment homes.
Complete the survey and let the Commissioner's know how you feel about the changes.
Planning Board meetings are held every two weeks at the Borough Hall on Broadway. All meetings are videotaped on YouTube.
